What is Cyber Security Awareness Month 2022?
October marks the beginning of NationalCyber Security Awareness Month(NCSAM), a month-long public awareness campaign launched by the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
The annual campaign aims toraise awarenessabout cyber securitybest practicesand stress the collective effort needed to prevent cyber intrusions and scams.
National Cyber Security Awareness Month is more important than ever, with the stark rise in phishing attacks and cyber attacks now occurring every 39 seconds. In fact, 64% of companies worldwide have experienced at least one form of cyber attack, and perhaps more worrying is that 90% of all cyber attacks are caused by human error. Such statistics highlight the ongoing threat that organisations face, and the need to ensure cyber security awareness at all levels.

Join us in celebrating successful digital transformations among small and medium-sized companies. This year there is also a focus on the positive effects that a digital transition has for employees, for example a better working environment and employee well-being. Nominate a company by September 15, 2022.

Søg midler fra SMV:Digitals puljer
Truslen mod de danske virksomheder fra cyberkriminalitet og cyberspionage er meget høj. SMV:Digitals' populære pulje er derfor genåbnet, så danske SMV’er igen kan søge om 50.000 kr. til at styrke deres digitale sikkerhed eller ansvarlige dataanvendelse. Tilskuddet skal hjælpe virksomhedsledelserne med at sikre deres virksomheder mod ondsindede angreb, der koster dansk erhvervsliv dyrt.
Samtidig viser en analyse fra Erhvervsstyrelsen, at 1 ud af 4 danske SMV’er ikke har implementeret de mest essentielle IT-sikkerhedstiltag: Opdatering af styresystemer og backup af data. Det gør dem sårbare over for IT-trusler som fx phishing-angreb eller CEO-fraud. Derfor er SMV:Digital puljen for digital sikkerhed og ansvarlig dataanvendelse på 13,4 mio. kr. nu genåbnet.
Åbningsdatoer for efterårets tilskudspuljer i SMV:Digital er offentliggjort – puljer vi anbefaler alle SMV’er at være opmærksomme på. For med SMV:Digital, kan du søge op til 250.000 kr. til privat rådgivning inden for forskellige emner.
Måske du hen over sommeren er blevet opmærksom på din virksomheds sårbarhed over for hackerangreb, så kan du søge 50.000 kr. i rådgivning om IT-sikkerhed (pulje åbner den 13. september).
